General

Why can’t I find Pawesomer in the AppStore or Google Play?

Pawesomer is designed to work on as many devices as possible, not just on mobile. Pawesomer identifies the device you are using and adjusts the contents to give you the best experience regardless of the device and size of the screen. This is why Pawesomer is web-based and not an app.

Redeeming a campaign code

  1. Create an account here.
  2. Go to your user account by tapping the user account icon
  3. Select “Redeem code”
  4. Input the code
  5. Confirm by selecting “Redeem code” again.

How do I register?

Pet parents can register either by using their Google account or with an email and password. Service providers register with their business ID/VAT number.

Register using Google account

  1. Go to http://www.app.pawesomer.com/register
  2. Select “Register by logging in with Google”
  3. If you are not already logged in to your Google account, you will be asked to log in
  4. Read and accept the terms and conditions
  5. Select “Register”
  6. Confirm registration

Register using email address

  1. Go to http://www.app.pawesomer.com/register
  2. Go to the registration page
  3. Select “Create account with email address”
  4. Fill out the registration form
  5. Read and accept the terms and conditions
  6. Select “Register”
  7. Confirm registration

Register as a service provider

  1. Go to http://www.app.pawesomer.com/
  2. Select “Log in with VAT number”
  3. Select “Register”
  4. Fill out the registration form
  5. Read and accept the terms and conditions
  6. Select “Register”
  7. Confirm registration



How do I sign in?

Sign in using the method you used to register, i.e. Google or email address + password. Service providers should use their business ID/VAT number and password.

Sign in using Google account

  1. Go to the log in page: http://www.app.pawesomer.com/login
  2. Select “Log in with Google”
  3. If you are not already logged in to your Google account, you will be asked to log in
  4. You have logged in

Sign in using email address

  1. Go to the log in page: http://www.app.pawesomer.com/login
  2. Select “Login with email”
  3. Input the email address and password you used for registration
  4. Select “Login”
  5. You have logged in

Sign in as a service provider

  1. Go to http://www.app.pawesomer.com/
  2. Select “Log in with VAT number”
  3. Select “Log in”
  4. Enter your VAT number/business ID and your password
  5. Select “Log in”
  6. You have logged in

How do I sign out?

  1. Go to the Pawesomer home screen to see the log out icon. You can find it in the lower right corner of the screen on mobile and on the upper right on a desktop.
  2. Tap the sign out icon
  3. Select “Confirm log out”


How do I delete my account?

If you wish to delete your account, please contact us through the Feedback and Support section of the app, using the contact form, or by emailing us at contact@pawesomer.com


How many pets can I add to my account?

Depending on your subscription, you can add up to 30 pets to your account. Your subscription price depends on the number of pets. You can read more about pricing on our website. You can read more about pricing here.


Security and Privacy

Is Pawesomer safe to use?

Yes. The Pawesomer web app is separate from the database and both are stored in well-known international cloud services. Payment details are never stored in Pawesomer.

Does Pawesomer share user information with third parties?

No. We do not share user information with third parties.

If a user has given their permission to use their pet’s data for research purposes, pet data (not user data) can be anonymously provided for the University of Helsinki, Finland, for veterinary research purposes.

Does Pawesomer save credit card information?

No. Pawesomer does not collect any payment details. Pawesomer uses Stripe, a popular 3rd party payment partner used by companies globally, for all subscription payments.

How much does a subscription for Pawesomer cost?

Is there a free version available?

No. In order to add pets and use the different features, you need a subscription.

You can try Pawesomer for free for 7 days by subscribing and you can cancel your subscription any time. If you cancel before the free 7 day trial period ends, your card will not be charged.

How do I subscribe?

  1. Go to your user account by tapping the user account icon
  2.  Select the credit card icon (“Subscription” in the menu on desktop)
  3. Select “Create subscription”.
  4. Fill out your card details in the pop-up window.
  5. Confirm your subscription by selecting “Subscribe” or cancel by pressing the X in the upper right corner of the pop-up.

Updating your card details

  1. Go to your user account by tapping the user account icon
  2.  Select the credit card icon (“Subscription” in the menu on desktop)
  3. Select “Update card”.
  4. Fill out your card details in the pop-up window.
  5. Confirm the changes by selecting “Update card” or cancel by pressing the X in the upper right corner of the pop-up.

Cancelling your subscription

  1. Go to your user account by tapping the user account icon
  2.  Select the credit card icon (“Subscription” in the menu on desktop)
  3. At the bottom of the page, select “Cancel subscription”.
  4. Confirm cancellation.

Payment methods

We accept card payments through Stripe, a global and secure provider of online payments.  You can read more about them here.  At the moment you can pay with almost any credit or debit card, such as Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard Debit/Credit and American Express. Other payment methods are not available right now.


Pets

Adding a pet

  1. Create an account and log in
  2. On the home screen, select the add pet icon
  3. Fill in the pet’s information.
  4. Confirm by selecting “Submit”.

Editing a pet

  1. Select a pet and go to the pet’s profile details by tapping the pet’s profile image or profile icon
  2. Select the “Edit” icon
  3. Select “Edit”.
  4. Make any changes you want
  5. Select “Update” or select “Cancel” to discard the changes.

Deleting a pet

  1. Select a pet
  2. Go to the pet’s profile details by selecting the “Pet profile” tile
  3. “Delete profile”
  4. Select “Delete profile”
  5. Confirm deletion by typing the pet’s name and selecting “Delete”

Use Pawesomer as an app

Pawesomer is a web app and does not currently have a separate app that you can download from an app store. Nevertheless, Pawesomer can be used like an app by adding a shortcut of it on your device’s home screen. Using the shortcut, Pawesomer will open like any other app in its own window.
